Margaret has always been an active, passionate individual, both in life and in the field of fitness and health. She swam competitively for nine years as a kid, and that instilled in her a love of fitness and exercise.
Since that time, Margaret studied health, fitness, and nutrition on her own as a hobby and interest for many years. She credits her parents and their decision to Homeschool her for developing a deep love of learning, and being taught at home also allowed her the freedom and flexibility to pursue her many interests. After discovering the NTA (Nutritional Therapy Association) she began to pursue her certification in Nutritional Therapy, and she graduated in 2013. It was the perfect fit for her, and the valuable tools and insight into the body and how it functions further fueled her desire to help others take back their health.
In addition to her nutrition training, Margaret currently holds a Personal Trainer Certification through the ISSA and a T-Tapp Trainer Certification. Margaret currently offers classes and personalized training sessions in the T-Tapp Method of Mindful Movement. She resides in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC with her husband, Hudson and daughter, Roxanna.
Her passion is for helping others achieve optimum health and vitality through simple, effective modifications to diet and lifestyle. Small steps can effect great change in the client’s life, no matter what health challenges they may be facing! For her, one of life’s greatest joys is to see people take charge of their health and not only survive, but THRIVE! Educating others and supporting them during their health journey is something she truly enjoys.
